Who we are

UnitedRenewals is a lead-generation service. We are not a contractor, installer, lender, or insurer, and we do not perform home-improvement work ourselves. We operate websites and forms that collect information from homeowners who want to be contacted about a project, and we share that information with contractors and service providers so they can respond.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, street address, city, state and ZIP code, and the answers you select in our forms (for example whether you own the home, the type of home, and how many windows you are considering).
• Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser user-agent, the page you submitted, the referring page, and advertising/click identifiers carried in the web address you arrived on. We use these to attribute the visit to the ad that produced it and to detect fraudulent or automated submissions.

How we use it

• To connect you with contractors and service providers who can quote your project.
• To contact you about the request you submitted, including by phone, text message and email, in accordance with the consent you gave on the form.
• To measure and improve our advertising, and to detect abuse and fraud.
• To meet legal, recordkeeping and dispute-resolution obligations, including keeping a record of the consent language shown to you and when you submitted it.

How we share it

When you submit a form, we share the information you provided with one or more contractors, service providers or marketing partners so they can contact you about your request. Those companies are independent businesses and are not controlled by us; once your information reaches them, their own privacy practices apply to their use of it.

We also share information with vendors who operate our infrastructure on our behalf (hosting, databases, analytics, call and message delivery, and advertising measurement), and we may disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your information for money. Sharing your information with contractors and marketing partners so they can contact you may still be treated as a "sale" or as "sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising" under some state privacy laws. See Do Not Sell or Share My Information.

Calls and text messages

If you asked to be contacted, you may receive calls and text messages at the number you gave us, including calls placed with automated technology and prerecorded or artificial voice messages. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to a text message to opt out of further texts from that sender, and ask to be placed on the internal do-not-call list of any company that calls you.

Your choices

• Ask us to delete the information you submitted, or to correct it.
• Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Ask us to stop sharing your information with our partners going forward.
• Opt out of marketing calls, texts and emails.

To make a request, use the contact details below or the Do Not Sell or Share My Information form. We will respond within the time required by the law that applies to you. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Requests we have already fulfilled by sending your information to a partner cannot be undone at that partner — you will need to contact them directly, and we will tell you who they are if you ask.

Retention and security

We keep submitted information for as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet our legal obligations, then delete it. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our forms are intended for adults who own or rent property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. The updated version applies from the date shown at the top of this page.
